You don’t need a trip to the spa to treat yourself to a facial. All you need is a half an hour and some key items to emerge with a clean, fresh, and relaxed face.

To complete this How-To you will need:

Some hair clips or a headband
A gentle facial cleanser
A sink or a large bowl
Some warm water
A towel
Some steaming hot water
An exfoliating scrub
A facial mask
2 chilled cucumber slices
A comfortable place to lie down
Some cold water
A facial moisturizer without retinol or exfoliants
Some fresh mint or lemon

Step 1: Pull hair back

Pull your hair back and secure it with a clip or hair tie so it is out of your face.

Step 2: Wash skin

Wash your skin with warm water and a cleanser that suits your skin type to remove all the dirt, oil, and makeup, and pat dry with a towel.

Step 3: Fill sink

Fill your sink or large bowl with steaming hot water and sit in front of it.

Step 4: Steam face

Drape your towel over your head and lean forward until your face is a comfortable distance from the water—the towel should create a tent around the water, trapping the steam inside. Keep the towel over your head for at least a few minutes until your face is warm and flushed.

Tip: Add some fresh mint or lemon to the hot water to refresh your face and clear your sinuses.

Step 5: Exfoliate

With your face still wet, spread the exfoliating scrub over your face with your fingertips, using small, gentle circular motions moving outward toward your hairline. Be careful to avoid the delicate skin around your eyes.

Step 6: Rinse face

Gently but thoroughly rinse off the scrub with warm water.

Step 7: Apply mask

According to product directions, apply your facial mask, smoothing it on with your fingertips in small, gentle circular motions. Be sure to avoid your eyes and lips.

Tip: For oily skin try a mud or clay mask; for dry skin, try one containing a hydrating gel, or a cream mask.

Step 8: Place cucumbers

Retrieve your cucumber slices and lie down. Close your eyes, place the slices over them, and relax for the recommended amount of time that your mask should stay on.

Step 9: Remove cucumbers

Remove the cucumber slices.

Step 10: Rinse face

Rinse your face thoroughly with warm water.

Step 11: Splash with cold water

Splash your face with ice cold water—or even better, submerge your face for a moment in a sink or bowl filled with it.

Step 12: Pat skin dry

Lightly pat your skin dry with a towel.

Step 13: Apply moisturizer

Apply a light moisturizer that does not contain retinol or exfoliating agents.

How to Remove Facial Hair for Women | Facial Hair Removal tutorial by: BeautyBargains

http://www.facialhairremover.co.uk

Facial hair threading (also known as khite) is an ancient form of hair removal from the Eastern world that uses a cotton thread to pull hairs out from the root. It is quickly gaining popularity in the western world with celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez recently being reported in popular women’s magazines as having weekly scheduled threading appointments.

The new facial hair removing threader “Epicare” has been developed to work without having to be an expert in the technique. Anyone can use the Epicare threader to remove facial hair quickly and easily without having to go through the pain or expense of waxing, shaving or using depilatory creams.

Just like traditional hair threading, the twisting action of the spring traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle.

Like with tweezing, the results can last up to two to four weeks. With regular treatments, hair re-growth becomes finer and sparser.

Threading is a fast, effective method for removing unwanted hair, particularly popular for removing fine facial hair.

How to: Green Tea Facial Scrub Tutorial (detox your skin) by: bubzbeauty

(yes guys, I woke up and did this tutorial without doing my hair… Mega bed head alert)

Hi everyone,

Here is another homemade mask recipe as promised. I am loving this facial scrub so much!!!! You guys have to try it. Who needs to spend large amounts of cash when all you need is to go downstairs into your own kitchen?

My ‘Origins Modern Friction’ exfoliater works great but my skin is far too sensitive for the ingredients. It stung my face when I washed it out. Until one morning, I was sipping my greentea when I suddenly had a thought and wondered if we can use greentea as an ingredient for our skin. We can!!! Greentea not only tastes wonderful but has promising benefits for our body and skin.

This homemade mask is inexpensive and great for getting rid of dead skin cells (which can pile up giving you a dull complexion). By using the scrub when it is slightly warm, it opens our pores allowing the nutrients of the mask to cleanse deep within. I get questions by people asking me how they can reduce appearance of scars. The answer is by exfoliating and removing the scar tissues. You can even use this scrub on your body. The amount I reccomended is for 2-4 applications. You can adjust the recipe to make it more ‘thick’ or ‘thin’ so it suits yourself. I would reccomend you to exfoliate at least once a week.

If you have a jar, store it in your fridge (use still bottled water instead though). You can buy green tea (teabags or loose tea leaves) in your supermarket. You are sure to be able to get some. If would be awesome if you have greentea powder.

Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did,

Much love,

Bubbi

ps. Notice the dark circles? Thats the 5am livechat sessions with you guys O_o but it was worth it. xx
