(yes guys, I woke up and did this tutorial without doing my hair… Mega bed head alert)
Here is another homemade mask recipe as promised. I am loving this facial scrub so much!!!! You guys have to try it. Who needs to spend large amounts of cash when all you need is to go downstairs into your own kitchen?
My ‘Origins Modern Friction’ exfoliater works great but my skin is far too sensitive for the ingredients. It stung my face when I washed it out. Until one morning, I was sipping my greentea when I suddenly had a thought and wondered if we can use greentea as an ingredient for our skin. We can!!! Greentea not only tastes wonderful but has promising benefits for our body and skin.
This homemade mask is inexpensive and great for getting rid of dead skin cells (which can pile up giving you a dull complexion). By using the scrub when it is slightly warm, it opens our pores allowing the nutrients of the mask to cleanse deep within. I get questions by people asking me how they can reduce appearance of scars. The answer is by exfoliating and removing the scar tissues. You can even use this scrub on your body. The amount I reccomended is for 2-4 applications. You can adjust the recipe to make it more ‘thick’ or ‘thin’ so it suits yourself. I would reccomend you to exfoliate at least once a week.
If you have a jar, store it in your fridge (use still bottled water instead though). You can buy green tea (teabags or loose tea leaves) in your supermarket. You are sure to be able to get some. If would be awesome if you have greentea powder.
Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did,
ps. Notice the dark circles? Thats the 5am livechat sessions with you guys but it was worth it. xx

Tired of looking like you’re embarrassed—or worse, drunk—24/7? Here are some easy ways to make your cheeks less rosy.
To complete this How-To you will need:
Cleanser with oat extracts or green tea
Moisturizer with feverfew
Step 1: See a dermatologist
See a dermatologist to make sure the redness isn’t a symptom of disease or a skin condition like rosacea or telangiectasia. You could also simply have a naturally ruddy complexion.
Step 2: Clean with oats and tea
Wash your face with a cleanser that contains oat extract, which is an antihistamine, or green tea, which can help reduce the capillary dilation that leads to blotchy skin.
Step 3: Use the right moisturizer
Use a moisturizer containing feverfew, an herb that helps lessen redness.
Step 4: Use the right makeup
Women can downplay a ruddy complexion by applying a primer followed by green-tinted foundation. The primer helps the makeup adhere to the skin, and the green tint camouflages redness.
Step 5: Milk it
Calm redness from wind or exertion by soaking a washcloth in ice-cold milk and laying it on your face for 10 minutes. The milk’s proteins, fat, amino acids, and vitamin A all help reduce redness.
Tip: If your face becomes beet-red after exercising and stays that way for hours, take an antihistamine after you finish your workout.
Step 6: Use this emergency fix
If you have a special event that a blotchy face is threatening to ruin, apply some one-half percent hydrocortisone, which is available over the counter. It will temporarily reduce the redness. Just don’t do it often or it will thin your skin.
Step 7: Try a trick
Try this trick: Put an ice cube in your mouth and press it against the roof of your mouth. Receptors that respond to cold constrict blood vessels in your face, which is enough to reduce redness for some people.
Tip: Hot foods—both temperature-wise and spice-wise—and alcohol exacerbate facial ruddiness by dilating blood vessels.
Step 8: Have a photofacial
Ask a dermatologist about a “photofacial,” a procedure that reduces facial redness by zapping the red pigment in blood vessels under the skin’s surface with a high-intensity light pulse.

FYI: I have dry parched, sensitive skin in the winter and oily/combination (dry patches) in the summer.
What do I look for in a morning cleanser?
1) Mild – Gentle enough to use everyday and shouldn’t be able to remove tough makeup.
2) Light – Gel cleansers are the way to go. Avoid cream cleansers that might leave residue on your face and strip away too much oil.
3) Instant Results – Leaves skin baby soft and supple, not tight and squeaky clean!
I actually used to use foundation (to cover acne scars) but I noticed that it made my skin tone uneven and caused A LOT of redness over time. So i quit and I’m really happy with my skin now.

Meghan Tonjes did something like this, I thought it was cool. You can watch her’s here:
Since I get asked a lot about what I do for my skin in my videos I thought it would be perfect to steal her idea & show you what you don’t see before I record, which also answers your question. I don’t show this because it takes up too much time to be in every video. Normally this takes only 5 minutes, but that’s because I’m doing it on myself & not talking about or explaining what I’m using/doing.

Hate getting those big ugly zits that feel like a mountain on your face?! Well this video shows how you can cover those zits completely like they’re not even there.
***Please Note: Acne is caused by a build up of oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. As long as you cleanse your face well to remove all traces of makeup this will prevent clogged pores and causing the the zit to get worse.
This is used by women all over India. The turmeric acts as a natural cleanser and disinfectant and will not turn your skin yellow. The chickpea flour sloughs off dead skin to give unimagined silkiness and the milk will firm up the entire body. Even the tiniest of babies are massaged with this body polisher, but do be careful if you have a history of allergy to wheat or lentil flour – use rice flour instead.
1 tablespoon chickpea flour
Pinch of turmeric
About 2 tsp of milk
Mix all the ingredients together and rub on to wet skin instead of soap.
